Since 1987, Sally Lannin has provided consulting services for thousands of MBA applicants and seminar services for numerous companies. She has over 25 years of experience seeing firsthand which applicants gain acceptance. Sally holds degrees from Stanford University and Kellogg at Northwestern University, was a consultant with McKinsey & Co., and ran the MBA Career Management Center at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Beth holds an MBA from Stanford University, as well as a BA from Northwestern University. Currently active at both institutions, Beth participates as an alumni interviewer for prospective undergraduates at Northwestern, and supported the creation of The Writing Place, an on-campus resource for students. She has provided career counseling and perspective to young professionals for many years. Beth has held marketing leadership roles in the residential development industry for over 30 years. In addition to her work with MBA Strategies, Beth currently engages in residential real estate development and consulting projects for national development companies.
She serves as a mentor for Stanford’s Graduate School of Business’s Center for Social Innovation (CSI), providing MBA students with business counsel and critical review of their business strategies for impact ventures. She has provided numerous students (pre and post-MBA) with career and public service advice and counsel.
Peggy has held global leadership roles at Apple and Wells Fargo Bank. In addition, for the US Department of State she provided consular guidance for 500+ foreign investors seeking to build or buy companies in the United States. For the International School of Amsterdam, she mobilized and mentored a team of 150+ students to achieve the highest level of sustainability certification. In addition to her work with our clients, Peggy consults with companies regarding their sustainability strategies.
Deborah Fredberg, former Assistant Director of Admissions at Harvard Business School, has been with MBA Strategies for over 10 years, providing one-on-one consulting services. Her undergraduate degree and MBA are from the School of Arts and Sciences, and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her professional experience includes career consulting at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon, consulting with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, as well as management at The Gillette Company and faculty development at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Most recently, Deborah was Associate Director of the Career Opportunities Center at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
Founding the firm in 1985, Kathleen Gwynn serves as an ongoing advisor to MBA Strategies. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Admissions at Stanford’s MBA Program. She holds degrees from Notre Dame and Cornell’s Johnson School.
Stephen Christakos served as senior advisor to MBA Strategies. His nearly 20 years of admissions experience included 12 years leading MBA Admissions and Financial Aid as Director at Kellogg, Wharton and the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
